Lost a pet

If you have lost a microchipped pet the first thing you should do is make sure that the details registered in any compliant database (including Chipworks) are correct and up-to-date.

If your microchip is not registered (which is a legal requirement in the case of dogs) then you should immediately ensure that your details are registered. Your pet's microchip will be of little use if the finder cannot match the microchip number to you.
