Chip Check

Searching Chipworks

Knowing the microchip number is only the first part of the process of using microchips for reunification. It is important that you can match the number to the details of the pet's keeper. Therefore you will need to find the database in which these details are stored. There are several avenues you should explore, and they are explained here.

If you just want to check if your microchip is registered with Chipworks, enter the chip number here and we can tell you instantly:

You can consult the information provided by all compliant UK databases, and if you find the microchip then you will have to contact them directly.

Additionally, our partners at EuroPetNet maintain a list of all the microchips known to EPN member databases throughout Europe. Through their online service you can get the Web site and contact details of the member database by entering only the chip number.
